Ev and Em Carnivorium decided to launch a new company and wanted a playful, edgy logo and tagline that was visually appealing for their packaging and swag. Their idea was not only to sell various types of Venus Flytraps but to sell merch that stood out that people would want to wear. So, I came up with their mascot and the tagline "Plants That Bite!".
SKYBAR is an upscale club at the top of an elegant old building in Lexington, Kentucky. My thought process was to create a logo that would incorporate this iconic landmark and use a color pallet that would add to the high-end feel of this establishment.
Wicked Industries came to me needing a corporate identity, mascot, and tagline for their bee's wax-based knife protection compound Wicked Wax. I designed the mascot "Sting" and the tagline "Cutting Edge Protection". Sting is now used in all of their marketing, merchandise swag, and trade show booths. All of Wicked Industries packaging and five other product skews use variations of this logo.
The Wizard is a horse racing and sports book handicapping service with an incredible track record. Some say their success rate is almost magical. This logo practically created itself. The purple gradient and mystical glow bring this piece together.
This company is the premier marketing firm for the elite in thoroughbred horse racing. The logo needed to be clean and simple with the ability to be printed on a variety of light and dark items. When used in print marketing the horse icon is foil stamped in copper to add to the elegant look and feel.
Carson's Food & Drink is a popular high-end restaurant with a 1930s speakeasy motif. The interior decor covers the spectrum of reclaimed horse farm barn wood with expensive crystal chandeliers, brass accents, and smooth restaurant jazz playing in the background.
Wildcat shredding is a secure document destruction company in central Kentucky with a fleet of mobile shredding trucks. Kentucky customers respond to the wildcat due to their love for Kentucky basketball. So, the client wanted to portray a likable mascot that put off the feeling of security and strength. The character is a very intimidating figure wearing law enforcement tactical gear. This puts off a destructive yet secure feel. This logo is on many trucks, cars, buildings, and marketing materials.
Advanced Technology Inc. is a company that manufactures and sells equipment to customize almost any firearm. I created a shield shape with chrome and bold letters to portray a masculine icon that can be simplified to be burned or stamped into gun stocks and other items.
Know NOW! is a mobile app created by me for CentrAlert. It's an emergency notification application used by every EMA department in all counties across the United States. The logo needed the ability to be viewed as small as 50 pixels on various digital devices and printed on large marketing items such as billboards. So, it needed to be simple and clean. I wanted to combine the letter "K" with an exclamation point to show urgency at a glance.
